In Alabama...

...i have parents, siblings, and a wonderful extended family who love and support me much more than i can express in words
...i grew up in a wonderful small city that helped mold me into who i am today
...i attended a small school from kindergarten through 12th grade where i was able to build friendships, make long-lasting memories, and learn the value of hard work & dedication to a cause
...i taught my younger sister and brother how to say yes maam/yes sir and please/thank you, and i thought that was the coolest big sister responsibility
...i had a huge imagination as a kid and loved to pretend
...i was a cheerleader for 8 years
...i was able to attend the University of Alabama for four undergraduate years and another 2 graduate years mostly due to the hard work and sacrifice from my parents
...i held on to my closest friendships and made all new ones in tuscaloosa
...i survived exam weeks, breakups, car wrecks, and running out of dining dollars with the help of those new friends (and my parents)
...i had a blast with many different friends at concerts, surprise birthday parties, beach retreats, roadtrips, football games, and within the different apartments i called home
...i had the opportunity to work with the college ministry at calvary for 2 awesome years and now get to watch as they continue to grow & bring even more students to Christ
...i threw the frisbee at a park one day with the brother of my boss of those two years
...i married the guy i threw the frisbee with two years after that day at the park
...i have been blessed with new and old friendships that state lines cannot separate

who and what made me into who i am today will always be with me, even when i am no longer in alabama.

in a month, we are moving to texas. texas will bring many, many new and exciting memories all their own, and i cannot wait to experience each and every one of them.
