pilgreen family vacation, part 2: guys' & girls' day

from the beginning, we all agreed that the guys could have their own day to do...well, guy stuff, and the girls would watch the kids at the house. equally, we girls planned our own day to get away while the guys kept the kids. a brazilian steakhouse, a white sox game, and a couple of interesting train rides rounded out the guys' day. thankfully, zach captured a couple of pictures from their day so hopefully he does not mind me sharing them here:

our girls' day consisted of shopping trip to the nearby outlet malls before got all dressed up for our evening in chicago. we hit up the melting pot for dinner (AMAZING!), and then we enjoyed opening night of fiddler on the roof at the oriental theater. since i cannot fully speak for the guys' day, i will say that we could not have picked a better combination for our day...great shopping deals, unbelievable food, and an amazing show!

p.s.- look for a few more pictures soon. i am about to get a wonderful night's sleep knowing that i do not have to get in the car and ride for multiple hours tomorrow!
