where to begin???
first of all, i feel this will be a great make-up for the lack of posting over the past couple of weeks.
with that said, i am going to try to recap our trip to san francisco as best as possible. we walked and walked and walked and walked all over the city. because of all of that walking, we packed as much into our 4ish days there as we could. we of course hit up some great site-seeing spots: the golden gate bridge, alcatraz (from a pier), the bay bridge, ghirardelli square (oh yes, the chocolate), at&t park where the giants play, lombard street (the crazy-twisted one) and more.

we spent lots of time in mission bay which is where epic church will launch in just a matter of months. it was great spending time with ben, tim, and josh as we all got to take in the city in terms of just how much the area is lacking the presence of Christ. plus, those are just some all-around fun guys that made our trip even better. we also spent some time with ben lee and his brother as they enjoyed their own trip to the city. the entire group of us spent a wonderful evening with a wonderful family who have lived in san francisco for nine years sharing Jesus with their neighbors and beyond. such a precious time!

we had most of our last two days to just the two of us. we leisurely enjoyed a ride on the caltrain, walking through palo alto and stanford's campus, another breakfast at mama's (oh my gosh...possibly the best breakfast you could ever eat), a pier walk out towards the golden gate bridge and alcatraz, fisherman's wharf (well, you can only enjoy the super-packed tourist section so much), and the rain. we can't wait to go back!

GREAT pictures! glad you guys had so much fun :)
