we feel so unbelievably blessed to be uncle lee and aunt lindsey to 8 amazing nephews and nieces. i know we talk about and show pictures of all of them quite often on the blog, but they are a huge part of our lives. i (lindsey) am so thankful to have been welcomed so quickly by lee's family...some of them even started calling me "aunt lindsey" before we were married!
we got to spend a weekend in louisiana with 5 of the 8 last weekend. we wish every time we visit lee's family we could all be together, but even if time separates all of us sometimes, no one is ever forgotten because they are not present.
we got lots of good eva time in, especially considering she wasn't even 24 hours old the last time we saw her. there was also some trampoline time...double duty because joe and miles had their trampoline built while we were there too. emily always prepares such wonderful food, and this weekend was no exception. we are definitely planning to buy the "cook this, not that" book after our meals in emily's kitchen...those recipes are amazing!!!jonah, elijah, emma, sam, joe, asher, miles, and eva - we love you all!
They are an adorable bunch! And I have to agree that they are a very loving and welcoming family! Looks like a good time was had by all! And you guys are quite the traveling duo! See ya tomorrow!
