today lee celebrates his birthday, and i am so thankful to be celebrating alongside him as his wife. i do not think i knew everything it would mean to be someone's wife (and still don't!), but i am learning how special it is to share the normal days and the special ones. we got to celebrate his birthday last year but we were still living in different states so this year it is even more special to share a birthday breakfast, and dinner later, and know that neither one of us has to leave in a few days...a fact that both of us still find pretty sweet! so lee, when you read this, know that i love you very much and i am so thankful to be married to a man who leads us as a couple so well, makes me laugh, keeps me safe, and so much more.
