san francisco on my mind

an unplanned but very welcomed trip to san francisco brought us back together sooner than we originally thought. we were able to enjoy elijah's first baseball practice and game in the insane winter-like weather that apparently never leaves the other side of the city from where our friends and family live. we did enjoy nice warmer weather on the first and last days together so we took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed walks along the water taking in the russian navy ship docked in the city for a few days as well as the giants' practice before their series against the red sox. i also got to enjoy chinatown before we realized shauna's van was being towed in the process. our last night was shared with most of the epic team and family in union square over some ben & jerry's. thanks again to ben and shauna for sharing meals and more with us.

we wait in eager anticipation for what God has in store for epic church. please continue to pray for each the entire staff and team during this preparation time.
