our dear friend, katy, celebrated her 30th birthday in january. katy is one of the most selfless people i know. she is generous, always willing to help out, and super fun to be around. with all of that going for her, i figured the least we could do was throw her a fun surprise party for her birthday.
our friend, tiffany, also celebrated her 30th birthday in november as well. lee knew tiffany and her husband, aaron throughout their dating days in college and into marriage, and i have gotten to know them both since lee and i have been together. tiffany is a great person, passionate about the things she loves.
so, what's better than a surprise 30th birthday party for one awesome friend? a surprise party for 2!
after a few hitches along the way and changes in plan, the weekend came and the party was a huge success! we had friends from houston and dallas make it by. the garretts were wonderful hosts (and secret-keepers). we loved seeing wyatt and brendan meet...they are exactly 8 months apart! we made birthday posters out of little notes from all us to the birthday girls recounting favorite memories and leaving birthday wishes.
we capped off the birthday weekend with breakfast at rudy's because it
had been far too long since we had enjoyed some wonderful breakfast
tacos at our favorite breakfast place in college station.
lovely post...thanks!!! and you are a fabulous surprise party planner!!! It was a GREAT weekend and I am thankful to have such a wonderful friend....Lindsey! made turning the dreaded 30 a lot more fun!!!
