gearing up for baseball

two saturdays ago, lee was out playing golf, and brendan and i took advantage of the sunny afternoon to take his 6-month-pictures.  katy bought him this adorable outfit for baseball season.  i set up our photoshoot area, grabbed his baseball caps, and we were ready to go.  (also, a big thanks to my parents for the tripod which made this shoot even easier)

brendan was all smiles and showing off his mad sitting-up skills like a pro.  i got several pictures in before the sun set too low and he realized what was really going on.

it is still hard to believe i am the mom of a six-month-old.  where does the time go?  we do our best to take in every second...all the laughs, new sounds, major milestones, restful nights of sleep, poop explosions, stinky toots.  you get the idea.  thanks to those of you who read this because that means you love him and support us, and that means the world.
