saturday, we drove to shreveport for the colbert family reunion. this is all of lee's family from his mom's side. lee's mom was one of eight siblings so there are many aunts, uncles, and cousins when we all get together. aunt debbie did a wonderful job arranging the reunion: the cute meeting place, food, desserts, games, etc....i think she had some help from uncle jeff and aunt linda, too (would not want to leave anyone out :) ).
lee was able to catch up with some family members he had not seen in ten years, and i enjoyed meeting some of his family members i had not met before. lots of fun, conversation, food, and laughs were shared by all.

i wish i had pictures from the kickball game and sprinkler fun that wrapped up the day, but the conversation and company was too fun to leave to go back for my camera. trust me, a good time was had by all. it was well worth the drive :)
