pumpkin patch

one of the greatest opportunities we have had at our church is the privilege of being shepherd group leaders.  "shepherd group" is just a fancy term for the smaller groups our Sunday morning class is split into.  This ministry has really grown over past year and we have developed some really amazing friendships through it.  Each month, we meet up for a time to hang out and get to know each other better than just when we are altogether on Sunday mornings.

for october, we decided to make our gathering a little festive for the fall season and went to a pumpkin patch before going to dinner.  i found out that a church just a few minutes away from us has a great pumpkin patch every year, and we were going to be able to go on day 2 of it being open.  i drove by earlier that morning and saw that we were going to have a larger selection of pumpkins than i expected.  we all picked out pumpkins and even snapped a few pictures of our kiddos.
my only shot that captured all 4 in the same frame...not looking but all in the picture :)

we are so grateful for these friendships and how well we have gotten to know each other over the past six months.  happy fall!
